I am a junior at Knox College minoring in anthropology. My favorite part of this project was the surverys that I conducted with Eve. This allowed me to build my understanding of Knox's soundscape not only on my own associations, but also on those of my fellow students. The main questions that we asked were "What sounds do you associate with your experience at Knox?" and "What sounds would you miss if they were no longer present at Knox?" We recorded all of the answers we heard in addition to taking written notes. I have complied these answers into the two collages that you can find to the right.
